Commentary On Life

Life's a curious thing. One minute you feel down and nothing seems to console you, but then...everyone's demanding your attention and you love it.
At least, that's how it was for me. Is, rather. I've been on a roller coaster lately and the lows get a little less deep. The highs get a little higher. I find myself laughing more, smiling more, putting that extra spring into my step. I even find myself enjoying flipping burgers or pancakes sometimes. Sure, it's usually because I enjoy the smile I get from a customer and how they joke with me. Or maybe the guy's really cute. Either way, it's getting to be more fun.
Forelithe, you rock, man. And you know it. She drives me to look at apartments, is willing to ask all the questions I should ask, even invites me to eat dinner with her dinner group. Heck, she'll even wake me up when I'm falling asleep on the couch at two in the morning and should already be asleep. Besides, she cracks hilarious jokes with me. And who can forget the wonderful tale of "Kurai Himitsu Ukagesawagu"? That poor kid's name is enough to pity him. Your kids are gonna have strange senses of humor, but then again so are mine.
